Succeed is a second-hand thrift store reshaping how people view vintage and modern thrift shopping. The goal was to craft an identity that reflects the brand’s role as a cultural hub where sustainability and style share equal weight among their values.
The design approach centered on simple black-and-white colors and clean visuals, allowing the photography, textures, and materials of clothing to take center stage.
The name was chosen during the strategy phase because it represents a dual meaning of accomplishment, the feeling of success when discovering the perfect piece that empowers self-expression. It also represents inheritance, the passing down of one quality item to another, reducing waste and excess.
Trying is Succeeding, the slogan, is intended to say that every effort counts and being a single part of the solution is meaningful. The symbol mark rotates the “S” from the wordmark as a simple and easy-to-apply mark that resembles infinity.
The visual identity results in versatile logos and visuals that can represent the brand and its current mission and future goals for many years. The elevation of the perception of second-hand fashion builds toward Succeed’s vision to inspire smarter shopping and a healthier industry.
